1 week old pictures

I got some professional pictures taken at Target a few days ago! I was kinda stubborn when I was there. Mommy knows I hate being cold and they took my dress off and I was not having it! I cried a lot! Mommy says I still got some great pictures anyways! My dress said Daddys girl...I got him wrapped around my finger already!

I feel like a celebrity!

My oh my have we had tons of visitors not only in the hospital but since we've been home! You should see my closet...its ridiculous how many clothes I have says Mommy. But she always seems to get excited every day she changes me because than that means more pictures of me! A lot has happened in the last 8 days since Ive been born! Ive had my first bath, first tummy time, I lost my umbilical cord, I had my first doctors appointment and even professional pictures were taken! I have 2 more baby showers coming up for me to that I know Mommy is excited for! She cant wait to show me off to more family and friends!

My Moms birth story

On June 2, 2009 at 8:15 am in the morning my Mommys water broke while she was sleeping! She was so happy because she wanted her water to break so there was a clean sign she was in labor! Being that she wasnt having any contractions she took a shower and then she called Daddy and he came home from work in like 12 minutes! Grandma Carleton was here to and Daddy called Grandma Julie so she could meet us at the house! We got to Woodwinds hospital by about 10:00 am. They started Mommy on Pitocin because she was only dialated a "loose 1". By about 4:30pm Mommy was in a lot of pain and asked for the Epidural! By 6:00 she had it and for about 2 hours she was super happy not feeling the contractions. But then I was so low and their was so much pressure and the epidural was wearing off so the anthestelogist had to come back up and give her more of the epidural. She was fine again for about and hour or so and the contractions were then super strong again. So the anthestelogist had to come back up again! She was fine again for about another hour and it then again wore off! I felt bad for putting Mommy in so much pain but we both thought the epidural would work better than it did! By about 1:50am the nurse wanted Mommy to start pushing. Mommy was soooo tired from having to fight through all those painful contractions that she was so exhausted when it came time to push! But she did it and at 3:15 am I was born!!
